I have had a couple strange packages delivered this week. The first came on Wednesday. It was the package below. Inside was a canteen, compass, canvas messenger bag, a map, a cap with "2ND MASS" embroidered on it and a note. The note read:

They're here. They've taken our children, destroyed our homes and forced us into hiding. The aliens are winning on almost every front, but we have to fight back. This is what you signed up for soldier. We need you. Welcome to the resistance. Follow @2ndmass and use the hastag #fsincentivized.

Then today (Friday June 17th), my doorbell rang and when I arrvided at the door there was this envelop with "2ND MASS" stamped on the outside and only a child's drawing inside.

It appears June 19th will be a day of some significance.

TechCrunch produced a cool video of the Posterous headquarters as part of the TC Cribs series. The Posterous crew is set-up in San Francisco's Mission District with a killer view from the buidling's deck.

Two things came out of left field for me. 1) The Snuggies 2) Bud Light Lime. Nothing against those fine products, it was just different, and well Posterous is a different type of blogging service.

Anyone who has talked to me for more than five minutes about tools for a solid blog and social media toolkit knows I recommend Posterous. The service has a lot desired featured built-in that provide full spectrum coverage to the social Internet.

Besides all the published reasons to use Posterous there is one huge advantage to Posterous that no one has came out and announced, but that reason it makes the time and effort spent on Posterous well spent.

This is tragic story about social gaming, personal responsibility and most of all, poor life choices.

Alexandra V. Tobias, 22, was arrested after the January death of 3-month-old Dylan Lee Edmondson. She told investigators she became angry because the baby was crying while she was playing a computer game called FarmVille on the Facebook social-networking website.
