One thing I have rediscovered with the #SocialMediaResolution campaign from Posterous Spaces is post.ly.
Post.ly is simple web interface that looks like nearly every other third-party Twitter client, with one exception, it allows you to add more information to prop-up the subject in your Tweet.
The beauty to Post.ly is that it will make you treat headlines for your post on your Posterous Space as a Tweet. Makes perfect sense, we want our headlines to be as catchy and shareable as our Tweets. Don't we?
Bruce Springsteen has just released a track from his upcoming album Wrecking Ball (Amazon Link). The first song released from the Boss's 17th studio album is We Take Care of Our Own.
It's hard not to notice the absence of Clarence Clemons on the saxophone.
The tracks slated to on Wrecking Ball for it's March 3rd release are:
Considering the amount and speed we are consuming books, blogs, music, movies and other forms of entertainment, it seems like it's just a matter of time before we amuse ourselves to death.
By now you have probably been exposed to more anti-SOPA PSA's and black-outs than you could possibly want.
In a Nutshell, SOPA is a bad bill that will do more harm than it ever will good. If you value your ability to express yourself on the Internet, let your Representative and Senator know they should vote NO on SOPA.
On a lighter note, here are two of the funniest observations on SOPA.
The Wikipedia blackout presents a horrifying picture of a world with no knowledge. So does the Fox News website, which is running normally.

To start the new year, Posterous launched a Social Media Resolution minisite to help users find and reach goals for their social media usage. To sweeten the deal, Posterous will be awarding several Kindle Fire to the authors of their favorite resolutions.

Below are a couple of my social media resolutions for 2012. Now the challenge is staying on track with these resolutions.

Question time: What, if any, is your social media resolution?
My former co-worker, sports writer extraordinare and friend, Steve Wilhoit, shared a vintage video video with me that I've watched over a dozen times already. The video was of Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band performing Incident On 57th Street from 1978.
Steve's thoughts about the video and song sum it all up rather nicely:
Saw this posted on FB today. When I really want to hear intriguing songwriting I end up back listening to the first two Springsteen albums. This one has some of my favorite characters/imagery of anything he's ever written.
Hey kids, do you like The Muppets?
What about Hip Hop?
And bacon?
Well then, sit back and spend three minutes and twenty-eight seconds being entertained.
At least for selecting Pat Summitt as Sportswoman of the Year.
